CNN Living did a nice little story, with even nicer photos, about me and my work.

Art talk
Mr X Stitch (aka Jamie Chalmers) and Beefranck (aka Bridget Franckowiack) were kind enough to spend some time giggling with me on Skype. Now it’s a bona fide episode of their entertaining and inspirational pod cast, Stitching n Junk.
We talked about art and capitalism and anxiety and magic. Listen in here. (I’m told it’s a two-parter!)

Urban Craft Uprising Summer Edition

Come see me at Urban Craft Uprising, Summer 2010 edition! I’ll be doing unofficial felting demos all day and one official hands-on workshop each day of the show. (Eyeball the demo schedule… lots of hands-on fun to be had.)
If you’re obsessed like me, you’ll want to plan the shopping ahead of time and check out the vendor list.
Come early for swag bags, stay late for shopping and demo fun.
This will be the first official event for Hi-Fiber Kits, and I’m really excited to see what you think. Make sure you come by and say “hi.”
Bay Area Maker Faire 2010

I’m getting all of my wool and monster guts and various silly things together for the always fantastic Bay Area Maker Faire. Brookelynn Morris and I will be teaching the people at the Needle Felting Playground a lot of the time. I’ll also be doing a Making Plush Monsters demo, and finally some more felty-ness at the Maker Shed.
Check out the awesome on this Craft Demo schedule and make sure you come say “hi.”
